Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act

Also known as PDUFA V, a regulation of the United States signed into law in July 2012, which lays out the user fees levied on drug sponsors by FDA to cover the review of new drug applications and authorizations. Other provisions also included greater obligations on drug sponsors to undertake pediatric drug development, as well as new requirements on reporting drug shortages.
